Hong Chun Tan is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst with over 10 years of international experience in the field of behavior analysis. He is also the Founder and CEO of Engage Behavioral Development Clinic in Abu Dhabi. He specializes in supporting individuals with autism and profound intellectual disabilities, with a strong focus on severe and complex behavioral challenges.

Hong has practiced across the United Kingdom, and United Arab Emirates with experience spanning case management, clinical supervision, and multidisciplinary collaboration. His work emphasizes evidence-based, culturally responsive, and outcome-driven ABA service delivery. As a clinician and organizational leader, he has contributed to the development and transformation of ABA service models that integrate clinical quality with operational sustainability.

A committed advocate for the dissemination of ABA, Hong regularly delivers professional trainings, workshops, and conference presentations. He served as the Founding President of the Malaysian Association of Behavior Analysis (MABA) from 2020 to 2023. He has spoken at international events including the Experimental Analysis of Behavior Group (EABG) Conference (2015), Malaysia’s first ABA International Conference (2019), ICAN Dubai (2023), the 1st Southeast Asia ABA Conference (2024) and Malaysia ABA conference (2025). His academic contributions, include co-authoring peer-reviewed research “Using Task Analysis to Promote Engagement in Special Educational Settings.”
