Jo Maher
Jo is a trusted policy advisor who has made a transformational contribution to education in the Middle East. Working with Dubai’s Knowledge and Human Development Authority, she was the architect of Dubai’s first private education strategy, setting the emirate on the path towards more inclusive and equitable learning opportunities for its residents. As an advisor to education ministries and country director of British Council offices, her impact brought about greater cooperation and innovation throughout the region. Jo’s expertise extends into the education investment space, where she has worked with operators and investors and advised on opportunities to enhance educational outcomes for all children. Her insights have helped align commercial strategies with educational goals, ensuring sustainable growth and improved access for all to quality learning.
